Company History
Our predecessor investment funds were originally founded in the mid 1990s. Since that time, we have founded, purchased or financed lower middle market investments in over 200 companies in numerous industries. In addition to these lower middle market investments, we have also completed debt investments in a variety of middle market businesses that are generally larger in size than our lower middle market portfolio companies.
Before going public, our predecessor funds co-founded several private and subsequently public companies. The most notable of these early investments is Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR), a leading provider of specialized contracting services to electric utilities and governmental entities. We provided the capital to structure the company’s initial round of acquisitions and acted as financial sponsor and advisor for its February 1998 IPO. Today, Quanta Services has over $17 billion in revenues and is a Fortune 500 Company.
