Main Street donates to Child Advocates’ 2023 Santa’s Wish List Program
In December 2023, Main Street participated in the Santa’s Wish List volunteer event alongside Child Advocates. Child Advocates (http://www.childadvocates.org/) mobilizes court appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse by speaking up for abused children who are lost in the system and guiding them into safe environments where they can thrive. Through Santa’s Wish List Program, Child Advocates provides Christmas gifts for children served by the organization.
Main Street sponsored and organized a toy drive for Santa's Wish List at our corporate office. Our employees gathered new and unwrapped toys, enabling Main Street to deliver Christmas gifts to more than 50 children. Additionally, a generous monetary donation of $10,000 was contributed to Child Advocates.
Alongside the donation drive, 15 Main Street employees dedicated their time to volunteer for Child Advocates They actively participated in sorting and organizing all the toys from the Santa's Wish List Program as part of the Main Street Volunteer Time Off (VTO) Program.
