Running for a Cause: Main Street Joins the Houston Chevron Marathon to Support Child Advocates
The Houston Chevron Marathon is a premier running event that attracts athletes from around the world to participate in its marathon, half marathon, and 5K races. As one of the most anticipated events in the running calendar, the Houston Chevron Marathon also emphasizes community engagement by partnering with local charities, providing participants an opportunity to support important causes while achieving their personal fitness goals.
In January 2024, Main Street proudly participated in the Houston Chevron Marathon in support of Child Advocates, a nonprofit dedicated to helping abused and neglected children. Our team included 24 runners, with 7 participating in the marathon, 16 in the half marathon, and 1 in the 5K race, all united in their commitment to raise awareness for Child Advocates’ mission. Beyond the team’s physical efforts, Main Street made a monetary donation of $8,750.
