Main Street Teams Up with Rescued Pets Movement to Give Homeless Animals a Second Chance
Rescued Pets Movement (RPM) is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals by providing them with the necessary medical care and arranging safe transport to rescue groups across the United States. Each animal’s journey to safety involves substantial costs—averaging $150 for transport alone and exceeding $425 for those requiring medical attention. Through their efforts, RPM has given countless animals a second chance at life, finding them new homes and families.
In the summer of 2023, Main Street supported RPM's mission through both financial contributions and hands-on involvement. A $5,000 donation was provided to help fund transportation and medical care for animals in need. Additionally, our team members volunteered their time at RPM’s facility, assisting with tasks such as cleaning kennels, washing dishes, doing laundry, and walking dogs, helping to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Main Street also sponsored a table at one of RPM's key fundraising events, with employees attending to show their support. Through these initiatives, Main Street demonstrated its commitment to supporting animal welfare and making a difference in the community.
