Main Street Participates in Pull for Kids Classic Event for Child Advocates
In October 2020, Main Street participated in the Pull for Kids Classic event alongside Child Advocates. Child Advocates (http://www.childadvocates.org/) mobilizes court appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse by speaking up for abused children who are lost in the system and guiding them into safe environments where they can thrive.The Pull for Kids Classic is Child Advocates’ largest annual fundraiser held at, American Shooting Centers, a Main Street Portfolio Company. Main Street sponsored and participated in the 28th annual Pull for Kids event. The event begins with a daytime sporting clays tournament followed by a silent auction to raise funds to help the thousands of abused and neglected children in Harris County.
Main Street supported the charity by participating in raffles, bidding on silent auction items and providing monetary donations. In addition to the donations, 14 Main Street employees donated their time by participating in the sporting clays tournament and by volunteering to help setup and tear down before and after the event.
