GMI Group (formerly Gulf Manufacturing) manufactures, modifies, and distributes specialty flanges, fittings, rings, plates, spacers, and other fabricated metal products utilized primarily in industrial piping applications. The Company manufactures, sub-contracts manufacturing, modifies, and ultimately distributes its products throughout the United States, focusing its efforts in the Gulf Coast region. The Company's manufactured product lines consist of American Petroleum Institute (API) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) flanges, heavy-wall welding fittings, cushion/target tees, bleed rings, line blanks, orifice plates, spacers, and other specialty products. Its products are sold to suppliers who distribute these products primarily to the following four industries: (i) industrial, petrochemical and refining; (ii) oilfield services (upstream and downstream); (iii) pipeline transmission; and, (iv) nuclear power and transmission utilities.
